Rector Nominates to Leadership Posts
GMU Rector Professor Adam Weintrit has nominated the heads of two newly established units at Gdynia Maritime University as well as the Director of the GMU Offshore Energy Centre.
Under Decree no 39/21 of 23rd August 2021 on the Reorganisation of the Department of Management and Economics, the department has been replaced by the Marketing and Quantitative Methods Section and the Management and Economics Section.
Nomination for the post of Head of the Marketing and Quantitative Methods Section was accepted by Professor Barbara Marciszewska, DSc, and Dr Katarzyna Skrzeszewska was named Head of the Management and Economics Section.
Andrzej Popadiuk, the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for MBA Studies, was appointed Director of the Gdynia Maritime University Offshore Energy Centre.
The Rector also presented outgoing Head of the Management and Economics Department, Joanna Kizielewicz, a token of his gratitude for her work. Associate Professor Kizielewicz will continue in her role as Deputy Dean for Development and Collaboration within the Faculty of Management and Quality Science.
