End of Semester: "Risk Management in the Offshore Extraction and Offshore Wind Industries" PGDip Going Well
A successful first semester of the new Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management in the Offshore Extraction and Offshore Wind Industries has now come to a close.
This first edition of the programme began on 12th March 2022, after being inaugurated by HM Rector Professor Adam Weintrit, and Dariusz Lociński, the CEO of the programme’s main partner, PGE Baltica. The plenary lecture was given by Łukasz Sikorski – Director of the European market at OWC, an international offshore wind energy consultancy company.
The keen involvement and the enthusiasm shown by the students and lecturers for the subjects taught during the sessions are proof that the new study programme ideally caters to the current needs of the offshore industry. This is confirmed by our main partner PGE Baltica, who we would like to thank for supporting our initiative.

- Rafał Żendarski (PGE Baltica, graduate of the GMU Faculty of Navigation),
- Artur Ambrożewicz (CEO at Vulcan Training & Consultancy),
- Bartosz Borowski (OW Ocean Winds Poland),
