Pomeranian Science Conference for Schools Held in Gdansk
On 26th November, in the main building of Gdansk University of Technology, the 6th edition of the “Zdolni z Pomorza” scientific conference was attended by more than 300 primary and secondary school pupils. The conference included sessions on scientific topics of interest and hosted the stands of scientific circles and higher education institutions.
One of the lecture sessions attended by the pupils was the given by Dr Sambor Guze, the Deputy Rector for Education at GMU and Dr Hanna Guze, the Deputy Director for the Development of Teaching at Gdansk University of Technology’s Centre for Mathematics
In addition to attending interesting lectures, the pupils also had the opportunity to visit the stands of scientific circles and higher education institutions. Many of them visited Gdynia Maritime University’s stand, where they could ask about the subjects taught at the University and were given information materials to take home.
