Gdynia Maritime University GMU

16th November 2022, saw the first-ever Tricity GIS Day take place in the main auditorium at Gdynia Maritime University.

The event was organised by the LoGiStic scientific circle of Gdynia Maritime University and the University of Gdansk’s Gioseka scientific circle.

During the event, lectures were given by specialists on geo-spatial information from the State Forests Agency and companies Esri and Marine Technology.

Professor Cezary Specht and Professor Mariusz Specht, as well as students of three universities - the University of Warmia and Mazury, the University of Gdansk and Gdynia Maritime University, also held presentations on the topic.

It was the first such expert event to be held in the Pomeranian region.
