400 Students Complete Courses as Part of 'Spinaker - Intensive International Curricula' Programme
The Faculty of Navigation of Gdynia Maritime University has concluded courses carried out as part of a project entitled "Safe cargo operations on selected types of tanker", financed by the SPINAKER Intensive International Training Programmes of the National Agency for Academic Cooperation.
More than forty participants from different countries took part in the courses, which included "Chemical Cargo and Ballast Handling Simulator - IMO Model Course 1.37" and "Oil Tanker Cargo and Ballast Handling Simulator - IMO Model Course 2.06". The courses were delivered in the form of blended learning, with theoretical classes held remotely and practical classes t at the University using specially purchased simulators.
In addition to practical skills, the participants also got to know our beautiful region and visited Hel. We trust that our well-equipped workshops and professional staff will encourage them to come back to our University in the future.
