Call For Abstracts for IAMU Annual Conference (IAMUC) and Student Conference (IAMUS) at AGA25
The International Program Committee (IPC) is pleased to announce the first call for abstracts for the annual conference of the International Association of Maritime Universities as part of the IAMU Annual General Assembly (AGA25) to be held at AMET University in Chennai, India, from 17 to 18 October 2025.
IAMUC
Researchers and academics are invited to submit abstracts that align with the theme: "Disruptive Technologies and Innovations towards Sustainable Maritime Practices".
Key Dates in 2024/2025:
- Manuscript system will open early December 2024.
- Abstracts are due by 1st February 2025.
- Notification of abstract acceptance by 1st March 2025.
- Full papers are due by 1st May 2025.
- Notification of full paper acceptance by 15th July 2025.
- IAMUC Conference from 17 to 18 October 2025.
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 1 February 2025. The submissions template is also available for download here.
IAMUS
Students are also invited to submit abstracts that align with the theme: "Disruptive Technologies and Innovations towards Sustainable Maritime Practices".

How to submit abstracts:
- Visit https://aga25.ametuniv.ac.in/ for guidelines and templates
- Create a 1-page abstract using the template
- Create a user account in the manuscript system
- Upload abstract and other requisite information according to instructions
The submission, review, and notification timeline has been adjusted to allow ample time for travel planning.
