GMU Students Attend Traditional Ball
On Saturday 27 April, the University’s Traditional Student Ball organised by the Student Parliament took place at the Mercure Hotel.
Guests were welcomed by HM The Rector of Gdynia Maritime University Professor Adam Weintrit, the Deputy Rector for Student Affairs, Dr Mirosław Czechowski, the Chair of the Student Parliament, Tobiasz Chęciński, Martyna Król from the Faculty of Management and Quality Science and Jakub Strzelczyk from the Faculty of Mechnical Engineering.
GMU students and representatives of the University’s authorities enjoyed a long evening of dance, good music and good food.
Guests were treated to a delicious layer-cake at 10pm, with the first slice cut by HM The Rector of GMU together with the Chair of the Student Parliament, Ewa Pasiut. After serving the cake the king and queen of the ball were announced.
