5th GMU Student Scientific Circle Seminar
GMU Student Scientific Circle Seminar is an event which is written permanently in the University's academic calendar. On 3 June, students and representatives of the University's scientific circles from all the GMU faculties gathered in the University's main library for the 5th cycle of the event.
During the meeting, there were 7 presentations and 18 scientific posters, which provided the starting points for many interesting discussions, the exchange of observations, and the establishment of relations between faculties, supporting the development of common ground for new ideas and research initiatives.
As part of the seminar, there was also a conference for the next scientific poster. Choosing the winner was not an easy task, given the wide scope of scientific work and the well-prepared contestants. The results were very close, with the Members of KN UMGATE, Błażej Osowski and Michał Szweda, taking first place for their work entitled: "System for performing power cycling tests of discrete power transistors”.
A distinction was also awarded by the Scientific Circle Council to Tadeusz Lorkowski, a member of KN CARGO, for his work: "Comparison of electronic temperature measurement methods in a sanitary tank."
The final stage of the 5th GMU Student Scientific Circle Seminar in Gdynia is the publication of scientific papers at the end of the year.
We also have the honour to announce that the next GMU Student Scientific Circle Seminar will take place in November. The Seminar will also include an Oxford-style debate.
