University Enters into Cooperation Agreement with Polish Ocean Lines
On 15 April 2025, Gdynia Maritime University entered into a cooperation agreement with Polish Ocean Lines (PLO). The agreement was signed by The Rector, Professor Adam Weintrit, and PLO President, Radosław Marciniak.
Also taking part in the meeting for the conclusion of the agreement from GMU were Dr Sambor Guze, Deputy Rector for Education and Student Affair; Professor Tomasz Tarasiuk, Deputy Rector for Internationalisation, Cooperation and Development; and Chancellor Filip Malata. Polish Ocean Lines was represented by Rafał Stefanowicz and Krystian Gurbisz.
In signing the agreement, the two Parties declared their willingness to cooperate in the organisation and conduction of training at sea and internships for Gdynia Maritime University students and graduates; the preparation of joint applications for R&D funding; carrying out research projects; and the implementation of innovative solutions.
