Job Title: ENGINE CADET
Job Description: Engine Cadet assists in the operations and maintenance of a ship’s engine room, under the supervision of the designated officers. Responsibilities include monitoring machinery, conducting repairs, and maritime mechanical operations.
Duties & Responsibilities (as stated in Training Record Book ‘TRB’): ▪ Completes in preparing reports, projects, and presentations as required by the program and engages in offshore work and developmental training. ▪ Assists in the maintenance and repair of ship engines, machinery, and equipment. ▪ Supports routine inspections and maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior engineers. ▪ Assists in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions. ▪ Complies with safety regulations and procedures. ▪ Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENT
Mode of Training: Offshore assignments on deepwater drillship (Onsite)
Desired Duration: 12 months (flexible training schedule with interval onshore breaks)

Academic Background: Preferred maritime/engineering-related academic study for Engine Cadet
