Sławomir Bałdyga
Sławomir Bałdyga is an experienced professional in the offshore industry, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and timely project completion.
He graduated from the Mechanical Faculty of the Maritime Academy in Gdynia, as well as completed postgraduate studies at the Gdańsk University of Technology, specializing in offshore wind and nuclear energy. Additionally, he obtained a prestigious Master of Business Administration (MBA) diploma from the WSB Academy in cooperation with the EY Academy of Business.
With rich international work experience in classification societies such as the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the Polish Register of Shipping S.A. (PRS), Sławomir possesses specialized knowledge in various marine and offshore regulations and constructions, including offshore substructures, fixed platforms, subsea pipelines, TLPs, Jack-up platforms, DP installation vessels, semi-submersible projects and floating foundations.
Sławomir actively contributes to the development of the offshore wind energy sector. He plays a key role in the Polish Chamber of Offshore Wind Energy (PIMEW) and leads the "Industry" group in the Pomeranian Offshore Platform (PPO).
Having worked in renowned shipyards worldwide, such as SAMSUNG, DSME, HYUNDAI, REMONTOWA in countries like the UK, USA, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, and Poland, Sławomir is a respected expert in the field. His experience includes areas such as FSO, FPSO, FLNG, LNG, and FSRU.
In addition to his practical experience, Sławomir is a sought-after panelist at international and national industry conferences, as well as a lecturer at the Maritime Academy in Gdynia and the Gdańsk University of Technology.
