The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is the biggest business school in Europe and second in the world, with almost 1000 institutional members and 3000 experts in 100 countries. It's recognised as one of the most influential centres of higher education in economics, shaping the development of managerial education and management in Europe and around the world. Andrzej Popadiuk, the Director of the Offshore Wind Energy Centre at GMU is a member of the Board of Trustees of the European Foundation for Management Development and promotes the internationalisation of Polish Institutions of Higher Education as well as cooperation between Polish and international education centres, to ensure a high standard for development programmes within the offshore wind energy industry.
