Lars Engelmann
Lars Engelmann works as Senior Executive Consultant and Renewable Energy Advisor to Norwegian Energy Partners. He is a Founding Partner of KONGSTEIN AS (Oslo, Norway), board member of the German Association for Marine Technology (GMT) and advisor to the German Offshore Wind Energy Foundation.
He started his career as a naval officer of the German Navy (1994-2006), where he held the position of department for harbour and transport logistics services. His career includes experiences with Siemens Energy (2006-2009) and Vattenfall Windkraft GmbH – Business Area Wind (2009-2017), where he had several senior project management roles before becoming Head of Maritime Operations & Logistics – Offshore Wind.
His first academic degree was in Business & Administration Science at the German Armed Forces University (Munich) in 1998 followed by various executive MBA degrees from international business schools in USA and Norway. Lars Engelmann is a visiting lecture lecturer at Kühne Logistics University, Hamburg, Germany. He also teaches Logistics and Supply Chain Management on Offshore Wind Energy Master of Business Administration programme implemented jointly by University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven and Business Academy Southwest.
